The Brownfields Redevelopment Tax Incentive Reauthorization Act of 2025 needs your support

Representatives Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) and Michael Turner (OH-10) introduced bipartisan bill H.R. 815, the Brownfields Redevelopment Tax Incentive Reauthorization Act of 2025. This bill will allow developers to deduct the cleanup costs of all contaminated property in the year the costs were incurred, reducing brownfield remediation costs and incentivizing not only cleanups but new development, bringing jobs, housing, community facilities, retail, and office space that can revitalize communities.
