- Review strategic plans and studies for passenger rail service
- Support client integration of passenger rail plans into transportation documents
- Advise and Support Client relationship building with Capitol Hill and Administration officials
- Draft correspondence, including testimony, position papers, and principles
- Advise and support the Client in pursuing federal and state grants and other funding opportunities
- Track data and generate updates on passenger rail expansion and related legislative, funding, and administrative news
Transportation for America is leading the charge to bring passenger rail back to the Gulf Coast—and expand it nationwide. With the upcoming transportation reauthorization, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to define a bold, unified vision for a national passenger rail network. To make it real, policymakers must invest in strong state and multi-state rail commissions and pass laws that empower passenger rail to thrive and compete. We’re doing the work to make world-class passenger rail a reality for every region in America.
