National Complete Streets Coalition
Complete Streets approach integrates people and place in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our transportation networks. The National Complete Streets Coalition works to ensure streets prioritize safety over speed, balance the needs of different modes, and support local land uses, economies, cultures, and natural environments.
Our work
To realize our vision in communities across the country and nationwide, the National Complete Streets Coalition:
- Leads the broader Complete Streets movement, advocating for policy change at the national, state, and local levels.
- Establishes and maintains Complete Streets standards and best practices.
- Provides hands-on training in Complete Streets for communities of all kinds, including the development of advocates, professionals and practitioners, and elected leaders.
- Produces compelling content about Complete Streets including regular reports, storytelling, profiles, and in-depth research.
